FEA Angels is a network of executives, entrepreneurs and alumni from the best Ivy League South American (USP "Universidade de São Paulo) Faculty of Economics and Administration whose mission is to transform entrepreneurship through knowledge, networking and angel investment.

It functions as a bridge between investors and entrepreneurs. Associated investors have access to the pitch events, where it presents startups that have been previously selected by an internal evaluation committee.

The association was created in 2018 using Crably as the core IT system. There are 3 founders and one of them is the founder of Crably (Fabio) And has already many startups that have received investment, more than 150 associated investors and 2 startups accelerated in the YCombinator.

The data flow project was born with a partnership between a team of Brazilians and Ecuadorian doctors where the objective was a mutual contribution in the public health area of Ecuador using data analysis and artificial intelligence techniques.

With the crably company, we developed a recommendation system including reports, dashboards about diseases, epidemics, domestic violence and minority groups are needed by doctors, governments, research institutes, private sector and NGOs to create effective action plans and contingencies to solve the problems fast and to cut costs. As an example, we inform disease type growth, population habits, and many others.

The system can be used anywhere, although a prototype is already working. The information and recommendations are nowadays sent to the District Head of 17 health districts (including the Amazon area) in Ecuador.

As a result, a synergy between the stakeholders is created by feeding the system with local information and the system creates intelligence enough to empower local doctors to attend the population efficiently at the right cost and time. This can be used both proactively or reactively avoiding loading of the public healthcare system.

Examples of data sets are about race (especially indigenous), sexual harassment, domestic & psychological violence, disease records in the Amazon area, frequency of operating units, epidemics/catastrophic illnesses, minority groups, violence against children.

More then 17K+ indigenous impacted with the analysis, around 4,5K cases of disabilities was studied, 3.3K of pregnant women’s studies to prevent them in the future, more than 100K medical cases analysed.

The network group in Mjølnerparken (located in Copenhagen/Denmark) offers homework help for children from 1st to 9th. class. They also organize excursions for the children and social and professional events for the volunteers.

In the homework help comes children of parents from many different countries, for example children with Palestinian, Somali or Pakistani parents. The number of children in homework help is fluctuating, ranging from 5-20 children a day.

The vast majority of children need help and inspiration from adults if they want to get something out of their homework. Because of language barriers and poor knowledge of the school system, many parents with refugee or immigrant backgrounds find it difficult to provide this support. Therefore, homework help for children above all has the goal of ensuring that these children also receive the support that can make them perform well and are happy to go to school.

As a homework helper, one should not see oneself as a teacher, but as an adult helping in the same way one would help the neighbor's children or children in the family. It usually does not require special academic prerequisites, but simply patience and the desire to talk to the children about what the school assignments are about.
